1、在斯皮伯和威爾遜提出關(guān)聯(lián)理論的基礎(chǔ)上,格特提出了關(guān)聯(lián)翻譯理論,給翻譯提供了新的視角。本文旨在運(yùn)用關(guān)聯(lián)理論研究幽默話語中文化要素的翻譯。
由于植根于不同的文化背景,幽默言語中存在大量的文化要素,這不僅對理解造成障礙也對翻譯提出了挑戰(zhàn)。在關(guān)聯(lián)理論的框架下,譯者應(yīng)該將原文中有關(guān)文化要素的最佳關(guān)聯(lián)在譯文中重現(xiàn),使譯語聽眾對同一幽默話語產(chǎn)生和源語聽眾相同的反應(yīng),也就是說,保留原文的幽默效果。
