4、n of Huangshi and so on. The form and content of the English films with Chinese themes are familiar to Chinese audience .Therefore; these films are more acceptable among Chinese audience. The translation of these films

5、are rather faithful to the originals, but they still slightly lack in reflecting the profound Chinese cultural deposits. The film Kung Fu Panda is popular in China and is appraised highly. Chinese audiences are also quit

6、e familiar with the Chinese elements in the films. Based on the well-known English films with Chinese elements in recent years, this paper will make an analysis of the functional equivalence in the movie under the guidan
