2、 Counseling Psychology Applier: Wan YanAbstractAccording to defense mechanism theory and researches, there was a relationship between the defense mechanism (DM) levels and psychosomatic health levels and social support
3、.This article randomly selected 848 senior high school students from city and suburb as objects, with investigative and experimental study, which conduced to realize the characters of senior high school students’ defense
4、 mechanism and the relationships between psychosomatic health levels and social support. The article also could enrich to the theory of the defense mechanism, and refer to the approaches and measures of improving the def
5、ense mechanism .The results indicated that:1、As a whole, senior high school students were apt to use more mature defensemechanisms, and they often adopted sublimation, anticipation, fantasy andsuppression.2、There were no
6、 significant difference in senior high school students’ defensemechanism of area, gender and grade. Urban students were apt to adopt more maturedefenses than suburban students. Boy students were apt to adopt more omnipot
7、ence ofDM, girl students were apt to adopt more withdrawal, somatization and idealization.As age grow, students use more and more mature defenses.3、Immature defenses were negatively correlated with the scores of the soci
8、alsupport, subjective support, objective support and utilized support. Mature defenseswere positively correlated with the scores of the social support, subjective support,objective support and utilized support. Intermedi
9、ate defenses were negativelycorrelated with subjective support and utilized support. Subjective support was a predictor for immature defenses. Objective support was an important predictor for mature defenses.4、All the fa
10、ctors of MHT were most positively correlated with immaturedefenses and intermediate defenses, negatively correlated with mature defenses. The factors of MHT could effectively forecast immature defenses and intermediate d
11、efenses. The high score group of stress was apt to adopt immature defenses andintermediate defenses.5、Group-intervention was significantly effective to enhance the level of mental health and social support of senior high
