2、hilosophyIIAbstractMeta-stereotype refers to a person’s beliefs regarding the stereotype thatout-group members hold about their own group. The activation of meta-stereotypeswould lead the social psychological dilemma and
3、 cognitive imbalance, inducing theexperience of stress and fear, undermine the behavior of group members.Recently,deep study about the way to weaken and eliminate the negative influence ofmeta-stereotype threat is still
4、lacking. Emotion and emotion regulation play a key rolein meta-stereotype threat. Effective emotion regulation strategies can reduce cognitiveload and improve working memory efficiency.Therefore,the current research sele
5、ctvocational school students as subject. Firstly,from direct and indirect level,theresearch examining the effect of meta-stereotype threat(MST) on the emotion ofvocational school students by Group anxiety scale and Dot p
6、robetask(study1).Secondly,basing on Gross's emotion regulation process model, theresearch select two most common and valuable strategies to reduce emotionalresponses,that is Cognitive reappraisal(CR)and Expression su
7、ppression(ES),toexamine the impact of different emotion regulation strategies on vocational schoolstudents'working memory under the MST by N-back working memory task andSentence unscrambling task(study2). The followi
8、ng results were observed:(1)The intergroup anxiety average score of MST group and non-MST group had nosignificant difference.(Direct measurement).( 2 ) The Attentional bias to threatening stimuli of MST group was signifi
9、cantlygreater than non-MST group.(Indirect measurement)(3)There were significant differences in the working memory scores of the subjectswith different mood regulation strategies, and they differed with the difficulty of
10、 thetask.The emotion regulation strategy have different effects on working memory ofdifferent difficulty level:①ACCURACY:In the 0-back working memory task,therewas no significant difference among CR condition , ES condit
11、ion and Controlcondition;In the 1-back working memory task,the accuracy of CR condition wassignificantly higher than ES and Control condition , and there was no significantdifference between ES and Control condition;In t
