2、devolopment late,thinks to its location advantageous it became the vital south gate of the whole Song Dynasty。 From the early years of Northern Song to Southern Song Dynasty perish,this region have occurred “Nong Zhigao

3、Rebellion“, “Cochin intrusion“, “Liu Yu make“, “Qi nation“, “Kublai WO abdominal Quang Nam,“ and other major events, making the frontier defense rising。It can be said without exaggeration that YongZhou region is the thir

4、d important defense aear next to the Northern Song, Liao borders and South-north Song, Xia borders。 After Song Dynasty south-crossing, the region of Southern Song only border on the Jin Dynasty, so Yong Zhou rose to the

5、important defense aear next to the Yangtze region。 The late years of Southern Song, Kublai Khan ambushes in DaLi, soliders came into GuangNan to opened the second war front, So the YongZhou frontier defense became to the

6、 most improtant defense aear than Yangtze aear。 The paper is devided into five parts: Introduction this section describes the cause and research significance of topic, and reviewed the related research history, to clarif

7、y the value and feasibility of this study。 The first chapter introduces the overview of physical geography of Yong Zhou and the dynasty in the central administrative divisions of the institution and its evolution, and ov

8、erall general Yong Zhou importance of border defense。 The second chapter is based on a large amount of historical data to review the Song court was insufficient attention to Yong Zhou frontier defense in the early North

9、ern Song Dynasty, and analysis the reasons。 This article argues that because of the early Northern Song Dynasty was neglected the importance of YongZhou frontier defense and enlarged the power of Cochin regime, resulting
