2、RY ABSTRACT With the development of the national economy the quality of the highway Becomes higher and higher, and the deep cut-covering is inescapable, As a transient flow, the unsaturated seepage of the rainfall can ch
3、ange the pore pressure field of highway slopes and reduce the stability of the slope. The slope failure occurred frequently because of rainfall events in recent years. This paper analyzed the change of seepage-field in t
4、he cutting slope on the different conditions of rainfall infiltration based on the saturated-unsaturated seepage theory ,rainfall infiltration theory and 2D transient FEM model. And it analyzed the cutting slope transien
5、t stability based on the transient seepage-field which is calculated on the shear strength theory of unsaturated soil. The following is included: Saturated-unsaturated seepage theory on the condition of rainfall infiltra
6、tion is introduced, and boundary conditions are given on the condition of rainfall infiltration. The deducing process of finite-element control equation of saturated-unsaturated seepage is presented based on Galerkin met
7、hod. The soil-slope stability mechanism under the influence of rainfall infiltration is expatiated compendiously. The road soil slope of Xiang-Lin Road in Yunnan province is analyzed as an example. The transient seepage-
8、field is calculated by finite-element simulation method,and the corresponding distributing drawings of transient pore-water pressure are obtained. Then , based on the shear strength theory of unsaturated soil and pore-wa
9、ter pressure which is obtained above, the paper analyzed the stability of soil slope, and calculated the transient safety factors on different conditions of rainfall infiltration. The Presented methods and models could b
