2、 decide machine’s thrust efficient directly. There are professional propeller CAD/CAM software overseas, but these software are very expensive and their practicability are very bad, many national factories can not pay th
3、em. It is the best way to solve all problems to designing professional software with independent intellectual property rights. To carry out 5-axis manufacturing, the CAD/CAM technology of complicated impeller surface is
4、studied in detail in this project. The primary aspects of the thesis are surface- modeling of integral impeller and post processing of special 5-axis machine. The content of the thesis is as follow: Based on the principl
5、e of 5-axis, the necessity of manufacturing integral impeller using 5-axis CNC machine is analyzed from several aspects. Based on the geometry characteristics of integral impeller, discussing the requirements of surface-
6、modeling using principle of pneumatic. The NURBS technique of surface fitting is thoroughly researched. Programming on personal computer completes the surface fitting applying NURBS technique. According to this, any orde
7、r NURBS surface can be generated. IGES is introduced, programming completes transforming from computational results to IGES. According to this, geometry sculpt is finished in UG. The quality of free form surface is analy
8、zed applying technique based on curvature and illumination respectively. The key problems of NC and processing of 5-axis manufacturing are analyzed, meanwhile, interposition and collision are researched. Based on the po
9、st processing algorithm of arbitrary structure 5-axis machine and principle of general post processing, completing the post processing of HSM600U in UG/Post Builder. In the end, the results and conclusions of this thesis
