However, professors, stu
2、dents as well as companies in animation industry all think the level and quality of higher education on animation is still inferior to their target. So what is now impacting the quality of China’s higher education on ani
3、mation? What problems exist in the development of this? How serious are these problems? Educational and industrial circles of animation both have no answers to the above questions. The creative level and ability of stud
4、ents majoring in animation is the measurement of quality of animation education. This paper below chooses the university background, focusing on original works created by university students and figuring out the existing
5、 problems in animation education for self-reflection and further research. In this paper, we initiated from a survey on “original works created by animation- majored-students”, consulting animation-majored-students among
6、 5 famous universities along Yangtze river delta, namely, Jiangsu University, Nanjing Normal University, Suzhou Institute of Industrial Technology, Communication University of China in Nanjing and Shanghai Film Art Acade
7、my. 336 students and 13 professors were involved in this survey. We acquired more than 20 copies of true statistics to support our points in this paper. On the other hand, these statistics can be also used by other resea
8、rchers as updated materials for animation education. Features and procedures of original works as well as students’ psychological changes during the creation exposed through the survey. This paper summarizes features and
