  The article firstly introduces the purpose and significance of the topic of the relationship between food and construction of Chinese American women's identity and then deal with it in three chapters.Chapter One

6、interprets the relationship between food and humans, and women, and Chinese American women respectively.Chapter Two discusses how food constructs the Chinese American women's ethnic identity from Chinese American women's

7、 attitudes towards food which change frequently from their love for Chinese food, to their tiredness of Chinese food, to their choosing American food, finally to their accepting Chinese foodas well as western food.The ch
