2、reat changes have taken place in our higher education system. Construction of institutions of higher education shows unprecedented rapid developing speed and gratifying scene. However, the institutions of higher educatio
3、n should attach vital importance to and strengthening construction of humanity environment in these institutions along with the material construction. It is of great significance for construction of humanity environment
4、in the institutions of higher education to advance reform and development of the higher education, to build college-specialized culture, to strength and improve ideological and political education for college students an
5、d to raise their overall qualities. The present paper first introduces some related concepts of the development of humanity environment, making a profound analysis of the relations between some basic concepts, interpreti
6、ng the relation of ideological and political education to the development of humanity environment and the significance of these two factors. Then by some correlative investigations, this paper analyzes the basic state of
7、 present humanity environment development in the institutions of higher education and discusses in depth the cause of this state, on the basis of which, trying to put forward some basic principles for the development of
8、humanity environment in the institutions of higher education. Finally, this paper put main emphasis on exploring the basic goal of and means for the development of humanity environment in the institutions of higher educa
9、tion at the current stage, introducing some means and strategies for such development from three aspects: the development of material environment, spirit environment and system environment. Key words: ideological and pol
